    The room was clean.

The room was like a tiny shoebox and it did not have a window !!! The bathroom with shower and toilet was so small that you could not even turn around and had to step over the toilet to reach the shower. Also the hotel does not have a breakfast room so they serve breakfast in your room. All that is fine when you have a nice room with a window or terrace. As the room was just a black hole, it was not good at all.

This hotel located very hitorical area in Roma. If you want to enjoy decade before Rome, stay this hotel. staff were kind.

Because of hisutoric, it was old facilities, tiny room. If you seek comfortability, you should not stay.

There was nothing about the hotel that we liked except the location. It was centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere

Rooms and bathrooms very small, bad smell throughout, breakfast was poor, walls were thin and we could hear everything next door, very noisy as hotel was right on the street

The room was in the attic of this small but very very nice and romantic hotel. The room, though small and very basic, was very cosy.

Really good value for the money. Location is great: a charming neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars (it's not very well served by public transportation, though - which is not a problem if you're willing to walk). It was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was fairly good for a continental one, and it was served in the room at the time of our choice (between 8h and 10h), since the hotel is very small and doesn't have a room for breakfast. I would say it's an ideal hotel if you don't want to spend much and confort is not your top priority.

It's definitely not a good choice if you have any sleeping troubles. Although the street is relatively quiet (except for loud students passing by in the morning), we could hear everything from the front desk's telephone to other guest's snoring (not kidding). Besides, the bed was not very confortable. Also, when we arrived they tried to send us to another hotel for the first night, due to "technical problems" with the room. But we insisted to stay and they friendly managed to accomodate us in another room. Later I found out this is a common practice in Rome, but I was upset anyway that they didn't even warned us about it before our arrival.

The location and the very helpful and pleasant staff as well as the easy access to buses

Somewhat too small room and one night of continuous noise of other guests

Before booking, I liked the location and the medieval appearance. I was not disappointed. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The neighborhood is not a touristic one: this means better food, smaller prices, lots of real romans on the streets. But it's close to all the touristic attractions, which are just across the river.

Weak phone signal in my room due to thick walls - I solved this by leaving the phone next to the window.

Very good location in Travestere, gorgeous building. The staff was helpful and flexible, I got my room one hour before the official time. The price was very competitive.

My room was pretty small, and had one of the smallest showers I used outside of a boat, but given the price, this is was fair.

The location. It is situated in the heart of Trastevere. Walking distant to the main monuments of the city. Friendly staff.

The room we were at was extremely small, hardly the size of two small twins beds. The bathroom was very small too and was uncomfortable to take a shower in. Not for a romantic tryp.

I never thought to go to ruin my days in Rome in a effort to sleep in a place like this. Noisy. Discomfort. Broken bed. The minimum bath. I do not recommend it unless you are a crazy

Lovely location in quiet side-street in Trastevere, close to public transport and to many of the major sights. Close to restaurants, cafes and bars. Easy walking distance from everything you need in Rome. Rooms were nice but small.

Loud air conditioning system, tiny rooms and a very confusing breakfast system.

All of the staff were very attentive and courteous nothing was too much trouble for them. We arrived late at 10pm and were given a very small dbl room, we asked for a different room and in the morning we were moved. The location once we knew where we were was excellent. We were able to leave our luggage after we had booked out while we did last minute sightseeing.

We did not like having breakfast in the room, but a breakfast room is being built. We had difficulty in finding the hotel so better directions would be nice.
